Real-time currency converter for iOS
Exchange rates are cached locally on your device for up to 7 days. You can continue converting currencies even without an internet connection, using the most recently fetched rates.
The free tier uses Open Currency API (an open-source aggregator with 160+ currencies and dual-CDN failover) as the default data source. Pro users unlock 12 more sources including ExchangeRate-API, Frankfurter (ECB), Bank of Taiwan, Bank of Japan, Bank of China, NBP Poland, Bank of Canada, Central Bank of Türkiye, Vietcombank, Bank Negara Malaysia, Japan Customs (MOF), and TAIFEX — 6 of which provide official buy/sell posted rates. You can switch buy / mid / sell in Settings → Rate Type.
Pro unlocks 12 additional data sources (central bank posted rates and mid-rates), custom color themes, and alternate app icons.
Go to Settings and scroll down to find the restore option. Purchases are also restored automatically when you reinstall the app on the same Apple ID.
FX Pulse uses Amplitude for anonymous product analytics — feature interaction events only (e.g., "currency changed", "settings opened"), no personally identifiable information. Not collected: name, email, location, device ID, IDFA, conversion amounts, or specific currency pairs you convert. Not used: advertising SDKs, crash reporters, or third-party trackers. Exchange rate API requests transmit your device's IP address (technically required for HTTPS) and the currency code being requested. All conversions happen locally on your device. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
